Lina Stores Shoreditch - Italian Restaurant & Bar: A Hidden Gem in London

Such a beautiful branch of Lina Stores! Portions are smaller but the food is still lovely. Highly recommend the artichoke starter. Dinner for three came up to just over £30 per person (not including desert or drinks). Had amazing service from Evan!

Unbelievable affordable for something so central. Had 3 starters, 2 pastas, 2 glasses of wine for only £70. Food was also really good. Interiors looked really nice because of the high ceilings. Toilets are unisex but very clean so extra points for that. Need a reservation before turning up but thats fine. They have a little secret bar across the toilet door but didnt peak. Sounded interesting but too tired to fo.

We visited the #Shoreditch branch of @linastores, set inside a beautifully restored former bank (yes, with all the charm and grandeur you’d imagine), and it instantly became one of my new favourite date night spots in London We went a little wild with the #Antipasti and it was so worth it: #Burrata e Olio d’Oliva – creamy heaven. Vitello #Tonnato – MY FAV, so delicate yet packed with flavour. #Focaccia al Rosmarino e Sale Marino – so fluffy and salty, a total must. #Gamberi Grigliati – grilled prawns that were honestly some of the best I’ve had in London! For mains, we went full #pasta mode: #Ravioli con Burrata e Salsa di Datterini – huge, soft parcels of joy #Pappardelle con Ragù di Salsiccia di Agnello – rich, spicy and comforting Desserts? Of course! The #Tiramisù was dreamy The #PannaCotta was my personal fave — silky and light! But wait, there’s more! We then snuck downstairs into their secret #speakeasy aperitivo bar: @bar___lina So mysterious, so chic, and honestly the perfect post-dinner vibe. We were overwhelmed with amazing #cocktail options but the bartender was super helpful and made incredible suggestions. My top picks: CONFORMISTA – Adriatico #Amaretto, Cadello 88, Grapefruit, Rooibos BASILICO – Basil-infused #Gin, Mancino Secco, Milk… refreshing and smooth Truly a 10/10 experience. Delicious food, elegant setting, hidden cocktail bar… the dream cute & sexy date night combo!

Lunch for 4 at Lina Stores on Shoreditch High Street (just over 10mins walk from Liverpool Street station). We were pleasantly surprised and absolutely loved the beauty of this restaurant. Customer service was excellent and the food was impressive too. I loved the Italicus Sour cocktail (ordered two!). We ordered the Gnudi Fritti and Rosemary & Sea Salt Focaccia for starters. For mains we ordered the Pici alla Norcina, Ravioli di Zucca, Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Casarecce alla Calabrese (no photo) & Taglioni al Tartufo (no photo). All dishes were delicious and easily some of the best Italian pasta we’ve experienced in London. For dessert we shared the Chocolate mousse w/ salted caramel and Burnt Caramel & Marsala tart. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our meal at Lina. The ambiance and decor are stunning and all the dishes were divine. We absolutely loved the aubergine polpette and fried ricotta. The truffle tagliolini and chicken milanese are also a must. Very good tiramisu to end the meal. Excellent service throughout.

Lina Stores is a really good Italian option at reasonable prices. The food is simple but with fresh ingredients and the ambience in the Shoreditch branch is slightly quirky and quaint with its monochromatic pale green interiors. The desserts were super moist and delicious too! Overall, this is a fantastic option for great tasting Italian food at good prices.

Had the best birthday lunch at Lina Stores Shoreditch! From the moment I walked in, every staff member was so warm and welcoming. Evan and Aishita were especially attentive and kind and truly made the whole afternoon feel special. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous and such a lovely setting to celebrate in. Loved the table I was given too, just as requested. The truffle pasta was absolutely incredible. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you

We had a lovely dinner at Lina Stores. The decor is beautiful with a charming, old Victorian vibe that feels posh and elegant. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, especially our server, Guy. He was exceptional—attentive, patient, and took time to answer all our questions. He even remembered our personal preferences, like my love for cheese, and kept checking if I wanted extra cheese on my pasta, which made the experience even better. There were three of us, but we ordered five pastas in total. While the pasta dishes were delicious, the portions were on the smaller side, especially considering the price. The Pappardelle with lamb ragu was outstanding—the pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauce was flavorful and well-balanced. However, the carbonara was a bit too salty, which made it harder for us to enjoy. Guy was great, though; he genuinely asked for feedback and seemed to take it seriously, which we appreciated. Overall, we really enjoyed our evening, thanks to the wonderful atmosphere and great service. The smaller portions, price, and slightly disappointing carbonara brought it to a 4-star experience, but we’d still recommend giving it a try!
